What Bar Ops is

Bar Ops is the internal operations app used by the employees of Ticket Sports Bar. It is not open to the public. Only current employees and managers have accounts, and an account is created by the owner when someone is hired.

What we collect

Your name, work email, mobile number, position and work location, the hours you work, and the actions you take in the app (for example a cash count or a service call). The owner and managers see this to run the bars.

Text messages (SMS)

Bar Ops can send automated text alerts to employees who ask for them. Examples: a cooler running warm, a network outage at a bar, a schedule that was published, or a shift that needs covering.

How you opt in. Texts are off by default. You turn them on yourself inside the app, under Systems Monitoring → My alert settings, by choosing "Text (SMS)" and ticking the consent box. We record the date and the mobile number you agreed with. Nobody can opt you in on your behalf.

How often. Message frequency varies with what is happening at the bars. Most employees receive a few messages a week or fewer.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply, charged by your carrier.

How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help. You can also switch back to email in the app, or ask the owner.

Support. Email info@ticketsportsbar.com.

What we never do with your number

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your consent to receive texts is given directly to Ticket Sports Bar and is not sold, rented, shared or bought. Our messaging provider processes your number solely to deliver Ticket Sports Bar's messages and for no other purpose.

How your information is used

Ticket Sports Bar uses the information above to run its bars: scheduling, timekeeping, equipment monitoring and the alerts described on this page. Your mobile number is used only to send you the text alerts you opted in to.

Texting terms

The full texting terms are in the Terms of Service.

Where your information lives

Bar Ops runs on cloud servers in the United States. Access is limited to the owner and to managers for their own bar.
